Questions on AC low pressure port and missing cap by

I discovered that the cap on the low pressure port of my 2004 T&C van
was missing and wonder if this has caused any problems. Is its purpose
merely a dust cap (if so would any tight fitting cap suffice) or does
it have other purposes?
Next problem is where to find a replacement without being raped...

1996-2000 3.0L belt juming problem fixed! by

If you have a 96-2000 chrysler minivan with the 3.0L engine with serpentine
belt problems, then I have just the fix. The Goodyear 49204K belt kit.
This kit fixes the serpentine belt problem once and for all.
