the frame towards the back. ( not the door but on the...

WTB: Key Buzzer for '80 Vette by
LR
Wanted to buy: The key buzzer for a 1980 Corvette.
This is the one that plugs into the fuse panel.
The original GM part number was 14004971. It was later changed to 12510117.
Prefer new/NOS.

Column Lock Recall by
Stephen Rabinowitz
I would like to get the CLB for my 04 Z06 but after reading installation
instructions am a little scared of removing the panels where it says sounds
like breaking when removing as they say that is the hardest part.

Shock replacement, test drive, almost killed... by
Robrjt2
the weight transfer to the front of the vehicle keep the tires firmly planted
when the vehicle stops rapidly as in a sudden stop (when stopping in a forwards
direction.) Shocks don't play a big deal

Hot August Nights by
Tom Crabtree
Just back in from Hot August Nights in Reno, NV.
What a show. Tons of rods, muscles cars, exotics, you name it, it was
there. More cars and more people than you could shake a stick at.
Parking was atrocious, but there was off site parking and bus service to
all the big gatherings.
Biggest surprise...

Temp Gauge reads high. by
Al Reed
Any advice appreciated. The temp gauge reads high in my 64 stingray.
pushing on the back of the instrument panel in the vicinity of the gauge

VATS Decoder Module No-Start Failure by
Lily A. Sullivan
My 88 ran great but now it will not crank.
The diagnostic read-out code indicates that the VATS (vehicle anti-theft
system) decoder module has failed.
I live in Hawaii and the local GM dealership cannot be trusted to fix the
problem.
Can I bypass the decoder module somehow?
Other than replacing the...

Do both Cooling fans operate simultaneously on a C5? by
Tedd Riggs
I have the optional "Run Cool" on my C5, so mine is a wimp compared to Dad's
<g>
>Fans start low speed at 226 C ( 438.8 F )
>go on to high speed at 235 C ( 455 F )
>low speed with the ignition off at 284 C. ( 543.2 F )
The fans are wired in parellel, so both should be the same speed.
On mine:
