Buy (the color you choose) a can of Topper. Comes in a can the shape/size of a can of wax. Spreads with a sponge, included. Does a nice, waterproof job & looks like factory. Do 2 coats. If you are determined to paint it, I've used acrylic enamel which does a quickie, shiny job. Dunno about its lasting--this was just to get junkers through an auction (Oops, told on myself! NOT proud of it at all!!!) s |

Most of the home repairs to softtops look like a shade tree job. And any paint begins to flake and deteriorate quickly. |
