Magazine advertising is DYING!!! >-Rich So it was and is with newspapers; so it shall be with magazines. It's dying and you can thank many factors, including the internet. There must be enough people following to support the publication. Look at the mags you listed. Each one fills a gap, and the latter two are nearly identical. There's no point in my subscribing to 5.0 because it has little to do with my classic 65. I do subscribe to the other two. (I also subscribe to one which has no advertising and is devoted strictly to Mustangs. It's expensive.) Now, the two which are nearly identical have fine articles and coverage. But how many articles can be written about any car repair, maintenance, subsystem, or new product? How long can they keep coming up with new articles? Especially for cars whose numbers are dwindling? And when I can find similar articles appearing in both of them, why should I subscribe to both? My guess is that one of them is going to die. In time, like newspapers, you'll find very few magazines survive. It's sad. Spike 1965 Ford Mustang fastback 2+2 A Code 289 C4 Trac-Lok Vintage Burgundy w/Black Standard Interior; Vintage 40 16" rims w/BF Goodrich Comp T/A gForce Radial 225/50ZR16 KDWS skins; surround sound audio-video. |

BTW I've got a 67 conv, so looking mainly for 'old school' stuff... THX |
