XBox 360 Wheel Won't Connect
Hey all.
I've got an XBox 360 Microsoft wheel and wireless adapter that I'm using with my PC for iRacing. For a while the wheel wouldn't connect unless it had been plugged in for a while first. Lately it won't connect at all. The impression I get is that there's some sort of internal battery that may have gone bad. Has anyone had this problem or can anyone offer any suggestions? -Dirt- |

Also seems to be issues getting the force feedback to work with it. I just started up on iRacing and used my older red momo force, and after using the MS 360 wheel for a while now it is like night and day. I knew the 360 wheel was poor but wow is it bad compared to the momo, it is just so sloppy and hard to hold a steady line with it. You might want to consider a wheel like the Logitch G25 if your serious about iRacing. |

Got the 360 wheel figured out. There's a AA battery pack hiding inside the thing that had gone dead. Go figure... The thing plugs in, yet still requires batteries to function. Right. I agree that the 360 wheel is less than ideal. I've got a TSW wheel from my GPL days, but unfortunately it's a serial connection which won't work with Windows XP. I haven't had the motivation or funds to rewire the thing to a USB connection. My gaming time is so limited these days I'm inclined to just deal with the 360. |
