2005 Accord EX and adding XM radio?
I just leased a new 2005 accord ex sedan with the am/fm cd changer. I was
thinking of having an after market XM radio set added. Does anyone know if the radio that is in the accord is xm ready? I looked at the tweeter website and noted that tweeter has the satellite unit and adapter for $49.00 each and then the antenna is only $35 dollars, so with installation I figure $200.00 tops. The monthly fee went up to $12.95 a month, but that's not bad considering you get 150 channels. 1. My biggest question is can I keep the same radio without having to add a separate tuner? 2. Does anyone know if Tweeter is good place to go to? I figured they are pretty reputable. 3. Do I have to be careful because of the electronics in the car and the warranty? Thanks, Tom |

I just bought a '05 EX, and yes, it is XM ready, they even give you a
free 3 months of XM radio. |

Mine doesnt have the XM antenna or the unit, so that is why I want to get it
installed but just wanted to make sure the radio is ready as well. "I'm_a_dreamer" > wrote in message oups.com... > I just bought a '05 EX, and yes, it is XM ready, they even give you a > free 3 months of XM radio. > |
