Tire Modeling in RFactor
I tried to get the tires to blow up on Rfactor. I got the tire temp to
870 degrees!! Funny, i thought rubber would start melting way before that temp. Even the aluminum rims would start destorting at 800+ degrees. But my tires never blew!! True, I could not get the car to move after 15 minutes of burnouts, but the tire image was still there... Would be nice to simulate a tire flat or blowout when it should happen. Maybe something to think about later. Nascarob |
