Actually I'm sure of that, but how polished it will be, that's gonna be a
determinating factor of it's power over other sims, released or not. 'Cause
we have to remember that GTL is there soon. rFactor isn't as it is now a
full release compared to what GTL will be when released.

What's to say in 6 months they'll prefer GTL or whatever else new nearby
Christmas to mod as it's a better platform, with a more stable game engine,
lesser multiplayer problems, etc..? And everybodys gonna migrate the mods
to it instead of rFactor.

I sim to get an appreciation of the scale of the problem faced by the
drivers we watch on TV every weekend. I haven't seen them running Diamante
or Effexx as part of any sanctioned series yet, so, for me, it's pointless
to gain proficiency at these venues.

Obviously, it also interesting to play the "what-if" game using sims. To
this extend I'm surprised no-one's made Brooklands for NR2003 yet, but I
digress...

Someone made the oval:

The site is down right now but I think I saw it at dei-racing.com.

Did you change your e-mail address Larry? I sent you the e-mails the others
received, and info was at the forum.
