Until they mfg a car with the driver sitting on the car's center line, there's no choice but to drive from the left or right side(British).

I have been told that I tend toward the left of center of the highway lane I'm in. From my perspective I'm sitting just to the left of center.

What I did with the last car I had--since I couldn't full see full distance
of the front end--was add rotating blind spot mirrors to the side mirrors.
(I was able to buy them at Kragen Auto Parts, now O'Reilly Auto Parts.)
Noteworthy is that I put those mirrors on the inside lower corner or the
side mirrors, even though blind spot mirrors are usually installed on the
lower outside corner. I adjusted the side mirrors to BGE as they should be
adjusted for newer cars, then I rotated the blind spot mirrors to just
barely see the sides of the car when I turned my head. The end result was
being able to see if the sides of the car were centered in lane lines or
parking lot lines with a quick check of the blind spot mirrors, and the
blind spot mirrors were also small enough that I still had much of the side
mirror left to use in BGE setup.
