2003 TJ Blower Motor Resistor
Hey Guys,
Thanks for responding to my earlier post about the heater blower motor speed control failure. It was the resistor and the thing is very well hidden behind the large vent pipe that goes to the passenger side vent. It helps to remove the passanger side dash speaker so you can actually see inside the dash from that location. There are also two large plugs that are mounted in the way so you have to pull them out of their mounts and plan on cutting yourself on the sharp prongs at least once. With the glovebox removed and the left speaker out you can ALMOST see the resistor plug. Look for two small screws in the heater box in that location. After 4 attempts (and much prayer after the third attempt) the Jeep is behaving itself once again. Thanks again for the support, Randy |
