I see it says stereoscopic 3D support too. Only thing is that I read a
few days back that 3D causes eyesight issues with depth perception so
may not be a safe tech to use.

Yeah, I have my doubts on that one. It works exactly the same as depth
perception works, so any problems would be down to frame rate and/or any
strobe-like effects IMHO.
