why does Kadron sound so much like crap?
grrr
did some work on my bug. two things needed seeing to, firstly, the trivial ordeal of putting in a fuel gauge (VDO, god bless em germans) for the first time in ages now i don't have to measure the level in the tank by watching the miles, but i digress, kadron exhaust, stock ex brazil (i won't say what the almighty should do to them) after filing banging, grinding beating and bending, i got half the points alligned. couldn't attach one bolt (on the preheaters, no biggie) because the idoits (i know how to spell idiots, but it seems rude calling them that) didn't bother tapping the hole, and i don't have that particular tap. alas, after three hours i had molded that one year exhaust into something that almost fits and with some persuasion in the form of a large rubber mallet and choice swearwords from 4 different languages, it lazily popped half into place, which i consider good enough. now i'm just dreading the inevitable reality of having to get another one when this papier mache piece of rubbish starts rusting through sometime next month. besides i cut my fingers and my lip in a bizarre torch in mouth and rubber hammer incident. not a happy day for the diy car surgeon. |
