Default Yes a Corvette is a status symbol

The Corvette is a status symbol to those with high school diplomas, blue collar and lottery winners, who will park it in front of the bowling they bought with their winnings.

Most Vette owners are over 65. So I know the grey hair set loves them even
though the new ones are overpriced, depreciate like crazy and spend most of
their time in the shop.

Educated folks would not be caught dead in any car made my GM. GM only
cares about money and hides defects like ignition lock problems that cause
folks to be killed. How many killer 'features' are in the latest Corvette.

My guess is that Corvettes are more popular in fly over country than on the
coasts. Poor Corvette owners also have to deal with the moron mouth
breathers at Chevrolet dealerships. There also is a Corvette museum that
was stupid enough to be built over a sink hole where 8 Corvettes were lost.
Takes 'talent' to have that happen. Museum management was crying over the
Vettes that were lost when they were dang lucky no human was killed. Cars
can be replaced.
