Default 97 Pontiac Sunfire, left turn growls!!!!

Help,

Have 97 Pontiac Sunfire 2.4 auto. When driving above 30 mph there is a
growling from front left wheel area when even the slightest left turn is
made. CV boots are intact with no leaks.
It is the most annoying from 45-55 mph.

It will be even more annoying when the LF wheel falls off.
Check the bearings.

You probably should get the vehicle up in the air, run it and check
the front bearings with a stethoscope. From your description, I'd say that
it's more likely that your "right" front wheel bearing will be the culprit,
but I have seen the left side be bad when turning left. Usually, when you
turn one way, it puts on increased load on the opposite side, and a bad
bearing gets noisier in that condition.
