97 Pontiac Sunfire,left turn growls!!!!
Help,
Have 97 Pontiac Sunfire 2.4 auto. When driving above 30 mph there is a growling from front left wheel area when even the slightest left turn is made. CV boots are intact with no leaks. It is the most annoying from 45-55 mph. PJ central FL. |

From your description, I'd say that it's more likely that your "right" front wheel bearing will be the culprit, but I have seen the left side be bad when turning left. Usually, when you turn one way, it puts on increased load on the opposite side, and a bad bearing gets noisier in that condition. Ian |
