Guess I answered my own question on Chevy Tracker MPG
I went and test drove a 2000 chevy tracker 4 door 218 miles today. It was
around 150 miles rural/city driving and 68 miles on interstate. I was running 60 mph on the backroads and 70 mph on the interstate. I left it with the over drive locked in and the power switch on normal. I was kind of depressed when all I got was 19.8 mpg. Is this normal ? I thought it should get better than this. The tracker only has 12,000 miles on it so it ought to be in tune. Just wondering if this is about what you guys get. How about a Ford escape ? I am looking for a 4X4 with gas mileage around 25-30. Is this possible ? If so, what do I need to be looking at ? Thanks, Iowa883 |
