Default GTR; V8 Supercar mod: no MoTek display

Chaps, a request for advice/assistance, if I may.

I have installed the V8 Supercar mod known as
"GTR_V8SCC_TEST2-[V805+DDS].rar" but have noticed that there is no MoTek
display at all, just a blank screen.
This makes it rather difficult to assess various bits 'n' pieces of
information, such as fuel consumption, revs, speed, oil & water temps, lap
times, etc.

Does anyone know if this omission is deliberate or if there is another such
add-on (V8's) that I could use?

Your advice is welcomed.

Thanks,
Bruce.

I DLed GTR_V8SC_CARSET.exe from AusORC ages ago and had no issue
whatsoever (apart from GTR itself - sorry, just had too - LOL).

Interesting in that the two file names are different.
Perhaps I have an early version (if they are indeed done by the same
people).
I'll have a look for this other one.

Now that I come to think of it, it was a bit of a mess all that ie
working out what was the actual mod, etc. There is also a
"GTR-V8_TEMPORARY_Fuel-&-Timing.Fix.rar" file. As I said, this goes back a
while now so I wouldn't be surprised if many other versions have been
released since.
