Default Steering wheel get's stiff and hard to turn sometimes during rains

My Honda CRV steering wheel becomes stiff and hard to turn during rains.
The problem happens when my car goes through a watter clogged road and not
sure where the water splashes in my CAR. The "Charging System Indicator"
(battery sign) in the PANEL front of me starts to blink and my Steering
Wheel beocmes very stiff and difficult to turn.

I just don't have any clue of the relation between my battery and steering
wheel. I got my Battery changed recently but the problem still persists.
The issue is during there is no problem during regular use. Any
suggestions would help.

I'll bite....
Loose slipping belt. Tighten and or it or if it's and automatic
tensioner replace the belt and or the tensioner.

There's no connection between the two systems. My guess is
that the belt is getting wet, and starting to slip. That
decreases the hydraulic pressure and you loose some power assist.
It also doesn't spin the alternator fast enough, so the battery
light comes on. Replace the belt and the automatic tensioner.
Have you switched to underdrive pulleys?

Right. And while the OP is under there, check for missing splash pans.
