2000 Grand Cherokee w/Quadradrive; Differential
Just about every GL-5 gear lube appropriate for an axle *already* has
the friction modifier additive included. Look on the back label where it will include words to the effect "compatible with limited slip differentials". 2000 Grand Cherokee w/Quadradrive; Differential
Quadradrive difs need the 75W-140 synthetic lube with enough of the the 4318060 modifier added so that it is at 6.5% of the total. I like the stuff from Mobile-1. I've found additive at the local parts stores but while it says it meets the 4318060 spec, it then specificaly states that it is not for use with Quadradrive difs, so I just use the stuff from the dealership. I can only find the x-fer case goop at the dealership...
