Default Hurray! Another year of fun!

My 16-year old MX-5 needed its MOT a month ago (MOT being the UK test every
car has to undergo every year to ensure it's safe). Due to a move it's been
sitting in front of my house for that entire month looking glum. I finally
got it tested yesterday and it passed, first time, with flying colours - not
even a quibble about emissions which I was worried about due to a fried
catalyser. Another year of fun, hurray! :-) Just thought I share that.

Eric

They certainly seem to, yes.

62 758.4904 miles according to Mr. Google's calculator. Or thereabouts. :-)

I bought it used as a Japanese import about 5 years ago with only about 30
000 miles on it; I've put on the rest. I suspect that in its first 10 years
it was a Sunday car that lived in a garage. I've managed to keep it in
pretty good condition even though it's had to live on the street for part of
the time I've had it; now that it's a second car (after a junior addition to
the family) I keep it covered most of the time. I think the neighbours think
I'm somewhat over-protective but hey, if it means it lasts another 5 years
or so it's worth it.

heck with the neighbors, what do they know?
Eric, I think I put over 32k on my current Miata in the first 18 months I
owned it! I'm trying to dial that back a bit and keep it around awhile (a
long while). What part of the UK do you reside? city / country?
