Unless the page is frequented by zealots. In that case your editing efforts
are futile, as anything you type will be quickly reverted back to what the
zealot wants to see. Some of those zealots seem never to sleep or eat or
have a regular job.

Too many of the pages with emotionally-charged content (the ones having to
do with climate change are a prime example) are definitely in the control
of zealots.

As you know, some viruses come via email. So one day you get this email and
it goes like this:
"Greetings. You have just been infected with the Amish Virus. We have
neither computers nor electricity, so you are on the honor system. Please
delete all of your files. Thank thee."
