Great follow up, let us know how the NAPA works out. I did that once and the
mounting was different so I swapped the drive and mast assembly, worked out
great.

You didn't start the ruckus, sometime there are some headstrong Corvette
owners.

This ain't the place for tough-guy stuff. This is the place for
discussions about our favorite cars. The problem is that when someone
comes here for help or advice, you'll always find trolls that need the
squabbles - and who will attempt to cut down contributors with
"plausible" criticism.

I've seen this monkey do it too many times, so he's finished.

Couldn't stop it if you tried - but I can. I'm done with his ass.

Yep, thats the most common situation.

Sounds good so far.

That's the scoop. I often get OEM parts from one of my local shops,
and they're marked up way too high - but I do it mostly to support the
guys, and they return the favor. But I'll bet you get a replacement
kit of the same quality at NAPA.

Wasn't you, my friend.

Yeah you tell him... and please continue to show everyone here how to
throw money at a problem & replace complete systems (and get hosed by
Mr. Goodwrench) instead of troubleshooting down to the component level
(like anyone with troubleshooting ability should). Learn how to
read... it's a 1987, not a 1992-96.
