If you have the shop manual, it tells you how to read any error codes on the
speedometer display. If you don't have the manual, you can take it to the
dealer to have them read the codes and see what it is reporting.

My 1992 had its FIRST service problem last month when the service ASR light
came on and finally got a no-start condition. The error codes were all
serial data errors and I finally took it to the local dealer and after 2
days they found a pinched wire at the Anti-lock-ASR unit in the well behind
the driver seat, it was the serial data line and I have not had any more
problems, cost $150 to find.
