Indeed. I think I'll lurk here a little longer..the BMW group is
REALLY boring compared to all the excitement and learning to be done
here...!

Would still owning of a couple of Alfa hub caps (new and rather good
looking), Aero Alfa roof racks and matching Alfa bike racks (I need to
get rid of the racks though) be a good enough excuse to stay here?

You don't have to own an Alfa to stay here.

I think this may become more of a UKRM stylee Alfa pub.

While I'm not going to be Alfaless any time soon, I suspect my next car
but one will probably not be an Alfa.
