RASCAR Kyalami TPTCC 1/8/05 Results

Can't say I really won that race after watching the replay. Neil would of
had a great chance to catch me in those last couple of laps if he hadn't
been disco'd, but even more key was the fact that he didn't actually make a
mistake on lap 40 like I thought at the time, but pulled over for a moment,
probably because he wasn't feeling well. Didn't even tell us. :-)

My mistake at the last turn and in the pits cost me a chance at a legitimate
win.

First 20 was great fun though.

Congratulations to Brian for an excellent race and a podium position.

I thought I was going to make it all the way through without a coughing fit.
Sorry for not announcing but communication was difficult. I would have
probably packed it in early on except the bionic Ginger (close in points)
was still going strong in keyboard mode!! You deserved the win Dave, we both
made an error in the final turn but other than that you were holding me off
well at the end. Grats )

I got bit by the video-card freezes again.

I'm really beginning to wonder if the damned thing isn't overheating. I've
never had this issue before, though I did recently go to this new Antec
Case. But the thing moves a TON of air using 120mm fans.

I'm going to turn off fastwrites and tone the AGP down to 4x and see what
happens this weekend.
