See if they have a website and give that a try.
(They might have photos.)

I went to a Boston Blackie site and clicked on "his sports car" or
something like that.

It took me to http://www.imdb.com/register/?why=boardsread
This had a long registration form. I didn't bother completing it.

The ball's in your court.

A comment on http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0043182 says it was a Borgward. Take a
look at http://www.borgward.com .

As far as I can tell Borgward didn't have suicide doors on their sports
cars. The car that Blackie drove did.The hard part is realizing how hard
it has been to find the answer.you would think it is readily
available.People who remember the show recall he drove a snazzy
convertible,what it was, they dunno.

Borgward had suicide doors on many of their cars, especially during the 30s, and
the Austrian Borgward club site has a photo of a lovely little 2-seater with
them. Never having seen the BB show, I don't have any idea what his car looked
like. Got a link?
