Default Q: power loss on 156 2.5 V6

Hi all,
I have 2.5 V6, year 2000. Usualy in 2nd gear from 5000 to 7000 rpm I
need 3 seconds, but sometimes car needs almost 10 seconds to come at
7000rpm. I have K&N sport air filter and no katalysator. Had anybody have an
issue like mine? It runs normaly form 500 - 4500rpm, but after that car is
dead - sometimes. I recently disconected car battery aprox. for 1 hour
(maybe computer reset?).
Thanks and best regards,
Persona

p.s. I have LPG and gasoline and with both fuel is same issue, so it isnt
abotu injectors or gasoline quality. Maybe high voltage and missfireing?

I think it could be bad high voltage cables or 1 of 6 high voltage units.
Anybody else? Where are you AR lovers??

Unfortunately no advice, but my 2.5 V6 takes a lot less than 3 seconds
for 5000 to 7000 in second so I would say there is a general high
revving problem not just the times it takes 10!

Once this engine is at 5000 on full throttle in second gear you are a
blink of an eye from the rev limiter before catching the next gear.

There is no adjustment made for LPG that would effect the higher rev
range is there?

Hi Tony,
you can adjust LPG to run better then gas. I was in service today... My
1st cylinder didnt worked, but fuel injector, high voltage unit and wireing
was OK.. after that we placed 1st injector on second cylinder, and 1st high
voltage unit on 4th cylinder and everything worked just fine. What was a
problem? I really dont know. Car now goes smoth and fast
