Unfortunately his patent lawyer told him it would never sell, and he withdrew the patent application which was immediately picked up and resubmitted by Joseph Lucas. That was in 1909. Ya, I'm quite a fan of the old Vincents but it wasn't until I fell in love with Richard Thompson's "52 Vincent Black Lightening" that I introduced myself to the bikes and found out how truly amazing they were for their time. Shame on me!) and go right to the point; What the bloody h_ll are 'trafficators'? Chris 99BBB (trafficator-less I'm afraid) |

I still drive my first Miata (first car too) on everyday basis:
Crystal White 1991 B-package Miata (US). I bought the car in june 2003 with 96700 miles on. In the meantime I'm on 166000 miles. The lawyer who advised against wasting my Grandpa's money, made comments to the effect that "Gad man, they will never replace a man's arm signalling his intention to turn." After that abuse, however...... ;-) One 1996 "M" edition wheel for sale. Just two days left. If you need two of them, let's talk. I need to move these things out of the garage. http://tinyurl.com/yh4cetm I am also going to sell one of my sets of Miata alloys, but have not yet decided whether to sell the 2001 OEM 15" alloys or the set of 16X7" SSR Competitions. Whichever set sells will help fund tires for the set that I keep. Pat |
