Ping Alex Rodriguez (yellow phase timing in NYC)
Alex,
I recall you posting some time ago that the yellow phase time for traffic lights in NYC was shorter than 3 seconds. I can't find the post in the google archive. In any case, do you know what the typical yellow phase time for yellow lights are in NYC? |

Around here it's two seconds which is all right for cars, but a bit tight if you're driving a truck, especially in the winter. > -------------- > Alex > > Ulf |

Sometimes, when I'm unsure I'm going to make the yellow I count the seconds in my head, and it turns red right on "two" the times I don't. > --------------- > Alex > Ulf |
