Remove air intake duct??
I am new to this board and have a question.
My Honda Accord 1997 Owner's Manual tells me to: "1. Open the hood. If you need to change the headlight bulb on the passenger side, remove the radiator reserve tank and the air intake duct." Okay, so I look in the owner's manual and it doesn't tell me how to do this. I need to replace the headlamp on he passenger's side and they don't leave my big American hands enough room to get behind the bulb to twist it out without removing the air intake duct and the radiator reserve tank. The Japs must be laughing their butts off at us stupid Americans because they made their car so that people just get frusterated and take it in to the dealership and pay $200 to replace a stupid bulb. I am getting mad as I write this so I will just ask the question. WHAT do I need to do to remove the air intake duct, step by step? Do I just pull up really hard? I am afraid to start experimenting because I don't want to break the thing off. I just need to get enough room to replace the bulb (no the high beam). Any and all help is mucho appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help. Joel |
