Default MotoGP08 worth getting?

I see it is only $9.99 this weekend at gamer's gate for digital download
version. I haven't bought a bike sim since SBK2001.

If it's anything like SBK08 (ie console port) I doubt it as I couldn't
get my controller to work in SBK08. Tried a old gameport wheel (would
only turn right if I remember) and a USB wheel and Thrustmaster
Freetyler... no go which leads me to believe it would only accept a game
pad for a controller.

Doesn't matter as no one replied soon enough and it is back up to $39.99
now. I know it isn't worth that much at least.

You saved yourself 9 dollars. It seems that in the last few years bikers
have been getting direct console ports that don't even support simple things
like joysticks or even the mouse. I got burnt last year with SBK08, so I
very wary this year. Looks like SBK2001 is still the top bike sim.
