Default 1999 Honda CRV - Low Engine Idle

I have a 1999 CRV that runs well. The one thing that I notice is that
the engine idles at 300-400 rpm (using the tach on the dash). The car
does not stall but when I run the AC, the compressor keeps cutting in
and out due to the low rpm's (i.e. the AC is fine when riding at any
speed). Only idle is a problem. I've checked the AC system and it is
fully charged and runs normally when I am driving. Any help as to why
the idle would be so low would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike Nycz
