Yes, and also has perhaps the most porcine but least effective police
department in the region ... comparable to LAPD. For example, some years
ago they noted that the VINs on some custom bikes entered in the big annual
car/bike show had been painted/ chromed over. The states atty advised them
to ignore them unless they were street bikes 'cuz otherwise they were 'works
of art' and not motorcycles under the law. But they ignored him and
impounded them. The county ended up paying $1000s in damages.

It's so bad that I'd go around DC on the west when I lived just south of
there in Virginia just to avoid the place. Too bad, there are some nice
folks and things to see there.
