67 Mustang auto trans question
What transmission from other cars will fit as a direct replacment ? I don't
have the funds for a overhauled unit, but will look at salvage as a possiable. |

I don't > have the funds for a overhauled unit, but will look at salvage as a possiable. a transmission from a like type car, about 37 yrs. old is not gonna be in such good shape.. automatic transmission at least..too much stuff in there that will go bad in time.. like the rubber parts(seals), save your money and go with a rebuild if that is what is needed...or buy the books and the parts and do it yourself.... pretty simple transmission back in the 60's.. |
