Default 1952 Chrysler C53 Crown Imperial 4dr Parade Phaeton

If we'd known in 1952 that we were looking at the side view preview of the
1955 Chrysler, DeSoto and Imperial I wonder if public interest could have
led to more of these being produced. Here are some shots of the car after
the addition of updated front and rear clips from the 56 Imperial.

I agree. I've never actually seen one in a parade but seem to recall that
they were lent out to Los Angeles and New York and maybe Chicago for use
with visiting dignitaries. Imagine the President using a car like this now!
Too bad that times have changed and circumstances force him to sit behind
bullet proof glass.

Kinda interesting, the symbol that replaced the Chrysler lettering on the
front fenders looks an awful like the Plymouth logo from '57...

You mean the Forward Look V's? These were derisively known as "ding
bats" within Chrysler in those days.
