They just put "Ice" on the display when the outside temp sensor drops to a predetermined temperature. This thing referred to here is a radio link to an external road monitoring system that reports actual ice. |

That would be another bull**** system.. The traditional ones sense the temperature of the road surface via IR, I believe. I think it is good enough for a problem that is fleeting and seasonal. We have far too much electronic google-de-**** already. |
