Default 2001 Passat gone haywire

I have a 2001 V6 All Motion Passat that at 50,000 miles has suddenly
developed the following electric quirks. I am looking for a common
demoninator here since they all seem to have happened at once.

1. Electric fan blows the 40A fuse
2. When I put my foot on the brake the instrument lights go on as well
as the parking lights.
3. The rear center brake light stays lit even if your foot is not on
the brake.
4. The climate control temperature starts dropping to below zero
readings and the heat comes on in the summer. Eventually after a while
it gets the temperature right.

Could all these be related? They all seem to be on seperate circuits.
Fuses all ok.

I am stumped.

Any insight would be appreciated before I bring it to the dealer.

I would search for a broken/bad earth connection.
