Default Identifying Colour

The handbook says the colour is given on the front page of the service
book. Not on mine - nor is there a space for it.

It also says the colour code is on a plate beside the commission number on
the left hand wing under the bonnet, but all I can identify is the various
weights. All nicely obscured by the wiring loom. ;-)

It's a dark green '97 528 - UK. I thought it was Oxford Green, but I've
been told it's Boston Green?

I had a '96 323 which was Boston Green, had an almost "blueish" haze to it
whereas Oxford Green seemed "green". Might have just been me though!

I'm not positive, but don't think that Boston Green was available on the
5series in '97 - At least not in the USA. Had an Oxford Green 97 528i. 97
was the model change year, there was no '96 five series. I've seen '95 and
earlier in Boston Green, but none of the newer cars.

I've found what I think is the paint code 326-6 and that appears to be
Oxford Green.
