Default Alfa 156 S.W. 2003 Remote Control problem

Hello,

My remote control of my Alfa 156 is not working. I checked the battery
and it is still good (I only changed it a couple of months ago).
If I press to unlock the doors the red light blinks 2 times. (in the
manual it is written that if battery power is low it only blinks once).

Also when the battery is starting to get low the doors sometimes still
unlock but since a couple off days I am not able to unlock my doors or
trunk via the remote control !!

Anyone with similar experiences and maybe found a solution?

I don't have a second remote control so I can't check if there is
something wrong with the receiver in the car.

Thanks,

Dino

Default Alfa 156 S.W. 2003 Remote Control problem

Hi Dino

Mine does exactly the same on an intermittent basis. Have replaced the
batteries and asked the dealer to test the communications between key
and receiver but problem still crops up randomly every now and again.
No solution, but you're not alone and I too would be interested if
anyone has any bright ideas!
