Cheap, but too cheap? (full kit specified, not just the belt)

I'd have said *very* cheap. Do you know them?

Garage quite literally over the road in my village - they've done some work
on other half's car and they are very good... another £120 quid on top of
that for a 72K service too.

Well, if you trust them, I'd say go for it.

They have a steady stream of customers for such a small out of the way
village so word of mouth must get around... I am wondering how much the belt
kit will cost them though!

Bout £100 IIRC. I thought that was included, so although it's still
cheap, it's not worryingly so

Could be done at that price. After all it is mainly labour.

New cam belt = 30GBP

local well-respected garage did my 156 TS
Cam belt + all the trimmings
Oil filter and new oil
Check & top all fluids
Roadtest
£317.60 inc
If that is any help in comparing prices.

Sounds similar to the total I've been quoted then.

Think I'll give them the business, if they do a top job I'll use them for
the prospective 2nd Alfa (not sure what yet) for the Mrs....
