Michellin Pilot Tires
In a torque oversteer situation, surprised by the lack of side to side
traction these tires show. No squeal, no rubber on the road, just slides away without a sound, and this is dry pavement. These are the low profile tires on the large rims. Are these tires known as hard? |

Try playing with tire pressure- I don't know about Pilots but many tires on Miatas need lower than typical inflation pressure- down into the high 20's |

thanks for input
guess shallower sidewall means less movement before giving. Still surprised that tread friction against the road doesn't make much skidding noise. Not exactly Mario Andretti, so not sure what to expect.
