Default Distilled or tap water?

I put in some tap water from the faucet into my coolant reservoir. I think
the house uses some kind of GE filter system through out the house and not
sure that helps. I think i put about 1 liter of water and the car takes
about 4.6 or so liters of coolant. (Doest this makes sense). Anyways,
can I keep driving this way or am I causing some major dmg to my cooling
system? The car had about 2 inches below the min mark in the reservoir of
already mixed coolant.
