Default Driver Safety Program

I thought I'd share the link to the AARP Driver Safety Program here.
>From everything I've heard, it sounds like a good, helpful course.

Plus, they say it can help lower insurance rates, which is an added
bonus.

Sounds like a variant or perhaps an extension of something called "55
Alive." My mother has taken that class two or three times over a
period of years -- I think the local senior-citizens activity center
offered it, though one of the insurance companies might have been
involved. She finds it to be a useful update and recalibration (as
well as a source of small but welcome insurance discounts in her
state).

Cheers,
--Joe

Yeah, I've heard good things about AARP's course. Apparently, it's a
classroom course that gets people back up to speed with everything
that's going on out there on the roads.

>From what I understand, the Driver Safety Program is a classroom course
that helps serve as a refresher to seniors. I'm more than happy to
have seniors take some time to rehash the rules of the road. All the
better for the rest of us.
