Place electrical tape over the sensor.

2007 Saturn Vue AWD.
Is there a way to set the auto dim so it remains off? The default is on and
I really don't like it. I can't see anything when a car is behind me. The
feature is helpful for cars with bright on, but I like to see who is in the
car behind me when I am stopped. Another thing that stinks is that it takes
holding the button in for 10 seconds before it turns off. My 2003 Vue it
just went off immediately when I pressed the buttons. Why do the mfg's have
to mess with these things?
