Well ... maybe you could tell us what characteristics you think this
33-successor would have to share with the 33 for it to be counted as
genuine?

Eerst komt er een nieuwe Alfasud, de opvolger daarvan zal de nieuwe 33 zijn.

English please ... this is NOT an NL newsgroup, as I was wondering this
afternoon when you mentioned it.

Well, I think he is a confused BMW driver, a bit lost in cyberspace,
accidentally entered the wrong newsgroup and desperately looking for some
professional help.

Please help the poor man.

LOL

You are right BravoEchoRomeoRomeoYankee,
just foulling around,

and checking if this is a 'real' newgroup:

can someone help you, with your "lightning" problem,
like I told you about the fuses some years ago,
there must be drivers with same "lightning" problems....... ;-)

<helpful?>

http://www.freetranslation.com

says:

Does when come there finally once a real successor for the 33?

or

http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish

says

when does a real continuator for 33 come there at last once?

*my* translation(!)

When will there finally be a real successor to the 33?

</helpful?>

Now you're going to tell me "I knew all that..but I'm damned if I know
what he's on about!" :-(

As someone who knows little about (too young..ahem..er..cough..) the
33, would saying *a 2 door 147 is as close as it gets* likely start a
flame war (ducks)..

Heretic!

The 33, especially in 16v form, was a legend. The 147 is some horrible
caricature of what a small Alfa should look like.
