Default The ADC is Still Racing GPL!

Tired of an empty VROC? No one in Igor to race with? We know the
feeling, and have the same concerns that you do about GPL. With the
community flooded like it never has been before with GTR, NetKar, LFS,
and now rFactor, it's apparent that our beloved GPL is starting to be
ignored.

But not at the Average Drivers Club! It's our belief that the greatest
racing sim ever created has a lot of life left in it. We are determined
to keep GPL as the main focus of the ADC (we do have a strong GTR
program, but GPL is our bread & butter). For those of you not familiar
with the ADC, let me give you a little background:

The ADC is a club, not a league. There are no points awarded or
championship standings kept but we will post race results in the ADC
forums at Speedgeezers so everyone can have bragging rights at some
point or another. The primary emphasis is on having fun. All racers are
expected to drive in a gentlemanly, courteous manner; not a
win-at-all-costs mentality. You don't have to be fast, but you have to
be aware of your surroundings and fellow competitors at all times.

Car restrictions based on GPL Rank are established to help equalize the
fields. Currently, we are running the original 67 cars and the 65 Mod
on alternating weeks. Also, since some of the ADC members are
beta-testing it, and know we know what to expect from it, the '69 Mod
will become part of our rotation upon it's release. The race format for
all Divisions is Intermediate Long with a 30-minute practice, and all
races are run at from a powerful bandwidth-patched passworded server.

We run four Divisions: Americas, European, Australian, and Average, at
various times/days during the week.

We have a large track list, which has been chosen to include a variety
of challenging and fun tracks. This list will be updated from time to
time due to the vast number of add-on tracks available. We run our
schedule on a 1 Papy/2 Add-on rotation.

If the ADC sounds like something that you'd like to be a part of, check
out our page at Paul Jackson's Speedgeezers:

Let's show the simracing community that GPL is not dead!
