Who cares if someone posts to several sites. The sooner I get an answer the
better as far as I'm concerned.

Lots of people care! I am *not* one of them - post in many places and get an
answer. My complaint was that an answer was posted on the other site and he
agreed that the solution worked. He then posted the same original question
here, after already solving the problem and complained when we pointed that
out.
