Default Las Vegas Grand Prix

Had to go to southeastern Las Vegas this morning. Quite a ways from where
they were running the formula 1 Grand Prix cars. I could hear them through
the still desert air, and it was several miles. Woulda liked to go down
there, but I'm sure it was a zoo. 150,000 people. Parking would have been
a nightmare, then a long walk.

Those Formula 1 Grand Prix cars must be REALLY LOUD, since they are running
in Malaysia this weekend. I am looking forward to seeing the Champ Cars
next week in Long Beach though.

F1 was run in LV decades ago - sort of an overgrown autocross, as it
was in a casino aprking lot!.
The fools even did it a second year. Then they moved to LB.
Still running on right-angle turn pavement.
I don't even go twelve miles to North Island as that is another flat,
artificial circuit.
Racing is left / righj, up /down. rain / wet - just like driving, but
without the traffic rules.
How could Junior Johnson ever take it after his back-road racing?
