Default BMW Mk 4 Satnav - Postcodes

I have a 2003 745i and have already upgraded the DVD Mk 4 to theV31
and have the 2008-1 DVD but as I expected no Postcodes.

Do you have a solution? Is there a DVD with speed cameras and full 7-
digit UK postcode search. It would make the software so much more
useful.

Would be most grateful for any assistance

The difference between men and boys is the price of their toys.

Intelligence is not knowing the answer but knowing where and how to find it!

Well the only way you're going to find out is to email me off list with a
genuine address I can reply to and a street address as David and I think he is
now well satisfied with the new options available to him.

If replying tell me what version software you have and whether it a Mk4 DVD
system or not and of course the type of DVD you have. I can only help with the
HIGH version DVD and can go from 2007-2, 2008-1 & 2008-2 DVD to include UK and
EURO speed cameras and 7 digit UK Postcode search.

Also advisable is to have the v 3.1 software update - which I can also help with
if you don't have it.

Hugh

Well if you live in the UK and want the answer contact me off the newsgroup as
this is of no use to our USA cousins although some of our Euroland friends might
find some use for the Euro speed cam data.

Obviously Mark Clayton doesn't want to know as he never replied nor even posted
here to acknowledge my answer.

Ok Mark - for £20 (20 gb pounds) I will burn you a DVD that has the speed cams
for UK and Europe + 7 digit Postcodes for the UK. Let me know which version of
the HIGH DVD you have 2006-2, 2007-2, 2008-1, 2008-2.

For copyright reasons you must have the original DVD. So simply tell me and send
20 quid.
