Default 2015 Jetta SE TSI AM radio frequency interference

I have a 2015 Jetta SE (1.8 liter gasoline engine) that I bought in February, 2015

Has any one encountered the following problem?

With the engine running (either at idle or at higher rpm):

*Intrusive radio frequency interference seriously compromises effective reception on AM stations that are on 20 KHz boundaries, ex: 540, 560, 580, 600, 620, etc. all the way up to 1700.

*The interference takes the form of an audible tone.
*The tone sounds like an irregular pattern of pulses. The gaps between pulses are very brief, perhaps 100 milliseconds each. There are no long-time gaps between pulses.

*The tone does not vary with engine speed.

*The interference does not occur at any of the intermediate frequencies: e.g. 530, 550, 570, 590, 610, etc, on up to 1710.

*The intensity of the tone vs., radio signal is dramatic at some frequencies more than others, e.g.660 and 740

*The pitch of the tone increases as you move up the band, (1600 and above).

Dealer tech verified problem, agrees RFI interferes with effective reception; dealer tech found same problem in a similar 2015 Jetta; dealer tech contacted VWoA support center to determine if there was a fix or service bulletin for this problem.

Since the problem occurs in another 2015 Jetta similar to mine, VWoA support center says this is normal and my vehicle is operating as designed.
