Default Explorer self- levelling suspension

UK explorer 1999 88,000 miles. Today fault light came on whilst going round
a roundabout. when engine switched off and restarted light had gone and did
not reappear. havent heard the pump running recently. have i a problem? any
advice as to likely cause and ease of fixing please
